Diploma in Islamic Banking (DIB)

The Diploma in Islamic Banking (DIB) is conducted by Islami Bank Training and Research Academy (IBTRA), a training and research institute of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, which established in 1984 located at Babar Road, Block # B, Mohammadpur, Dhaka. DIB consists of two parts DIB Part-I and Part-II. DIB diploma exam held twice a year. Each part consist of 600 Marks. Candidates have to obtain at least 45 mark to pass each subject. Candidates from Banks and Financial Institutions at least pass the HSC or equivalent examination, can apply for Diploma in Islamic Banking (DIB). After successful completion of DIB PART-I, Candidates can apply for DIB PART-II.

1. Alternative Financial System (Subject Code-101)
2. Principles of Economics: Conventional and Islamic (Subject Code-102)
3. Principles of Accounting (Subject Code-103)
4. Principles of Management (Subject Code-104)
5. Business Communication (Subject Code-105)
6. Theory and Practice of Banking: Islamic and Conventional (Subject Code-106)

SUBJECTS FOR DIB PART-II:
1. Investment Management (Subject Code-201)
2. International Trade and Finance (Subject Code-202)
3. Ethics in Banking and Legal Environment (Subject Code-203)
4. Management Accounting and Financial Management (Subject Code-204)
5. E-Banking (Subject Code-205)
6. Micro Finance and Rural Banking : Conventional and Islamic (Subject Code-106)

Application Procedures:
1. Candidates have to apply through Online visiting the IBTRA website
2. After Login, Candidates have to complete registration procedures providing accurate information
3. After Completion of Registration, Candidates have to provide Exam Fee (for each subject TK300/-), a Registration fee of Tk 100/- have to provide for first time registration.
4. Examination Fee and Registration Fee have to pay through Islami Bank mCash
