Guidelines for Foreign Exchange Transactions (GFET)

Guidelines for Foreign Exchange Transactions (GFET) is issued by Foreign Exchange Policy Department of Bangladesh Bank. The latest GFET is issued in January, 2018 to Authorised Dealers (ADs) and Money Changers in Foreign Exchange. GFET-2018 consists of two volumes. The Volume - 1 contains the instructions and the prescribed forms and declarations relating to individual transactions. And Volume - 2 describes the procedures of submission of returns and statements on all foreign exchange transactions by ADs to Bangladesh Bank. Guidelines for Foreign Exchange Transactions (GFET), 2018 Vol 1 consists of total 20 Chapters. GFET-2018 read to be in conjunction with other instructions, subsequent amendments and modifications issued from time to time by Bangladesh Bank.
